On Monday, Federal Student Aid announced that Draft 2024–25 FAFSA Specifications Guide has again been updated. An updated Volume 4 and the standalone draft ISIR record layout in Excel format is now available. The remaining guide is unchanged.
Just two weeks ago, Volume 7 (Comment Codes), Volume 8 (Agency Matches) and Volume 9 (Testing and Web Demo System) were updated.
More updates forthcoming
A special notice is posted on the guide that states that the draft guide will continue to change between now and the published final versions. Specifically, the 2024–25 Draft ISIR Layout will change as additional FAFSA Simplification requirements are determined. FSA provides this draft guide as preview to the final guide.
