3 reasons to take the Assessing the Climate of Sexual Misconduct Survey

Johns Hopkins University recently launched an anonymous Climate Survey on Sexual Assault and Sexual Misconduct to obtain important data directly from students. All full-time students, both graduate and undergraduates, are able to take this survey using the QR code below or clicking on this text. The survey will provide important data about:

  • the prevalence of sexual misconduct and risk factors;
  • student perceptions of problems and responses on our campuses; and
  • student awareness and perception of available resources.

The data collected in this survey are crucial to student well-being and safety. Here are some reasons why we hope you will take the time to complete it.

  1. You will make your voice heard. The survey is a way to anonymously share your experiences, to provide important information to inform how JHU responds to sexual misconduct, and to be a proactive member of the JHU community.
  2. You will contribute to sexual misconduct prevention efforts in Johns Hopkins communities. Using data from past surveys, different university departments have been able to expand resources, fine tune policy, and create new and innovative programming to address sexual misconduct and to support survivors. Some examples of initiatives the survey has helped build are:
