Office for Civil Rights Commences Title VI Investigations Against 45 Universities

On March 14, the U.S. Department of Educations (ED) Office for Civil Rights (OCR) announced that it had opened Title VI investigations into 45 universities. In a news release, ED noted that these investigations follow a Feb. 14 Dear Colleague Letter (DCL) signed by Craig Trainor, acting assistant secretary for civil rights.
