I remember seeing copies of Black Issues in Higher Education in various administrators’ offices at Albany State, the historically Black university where I was an undergraduate student journalist in the mid-1990s. I grew up reading more magazines than newspapers. The IU Higher Education and StudentAffairs Program allowed Ph.D.
