Oliver’s passion for mental health is rooted in his struggle of growing up openly LGBTQ+ in rural Nebraska. He experienced bullying and harassment from his peers and his mental health suffered. Finding an affirming therapist made a huge difference in his ability to thrive. She even started her own nonprofit, Beyond Taiwan.
