Stigma: Despite the increasing awareness and acceptance of prioritizing mental health, there is still a stigma surrounding seeking help for mental health concerns, especially in the athletic community. Mental health assessments can also be implemented to detect student-athletes who may be struggling and need encouragement to seek care.
