That project was restarted in 2024 and I was privileged to work with GTM and colleagues at the University of Galway to document oral histories and create a publishable digital map. A key focus of this work was documenting the project’s vitally important ethical approach including consent, ownership, access, and language.
To achieve an integrated and holistic student support network, leaders understood that faculty and staff needed one place to easily document their student interactions and access important student data. They can document their own interactions and actions to contribute to the full picture of that student’s experience.
Discussions on fostering diversity, equity, and belonging emphasized the importance of inclusive school communities and the impact of policy decisions on student success. Sessions on innovative approaches to financial aid and tuition modeling provided administrators with new strategies to make financial aid more accessible and efficient.
