The transfer rate is 85% for students within three years of admission to EPW. There is a dual admission program with the Armour College of Engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), which provides scholarships. Latino faculty at UTA closely mentor the students.

Visa process, international students may not actually have the necessary paperwork to arrive when planned, despite their enrollment or deposit activity. As for students who didn’t file their FAFSA, many of these students may be first-generation or low-income students who need more support to make it to the first day of classes.
